Ingredients for 8 servings
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 8 slices cooked turkey bacon
- toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles
1Mix ground turkey, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and peanut butter in a bowl until combined. Form 4 burger patties from the mixture. Cover with plastic and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to chill.
2Cook the turkey patties in a skillet over medium high heat. Cook for 5-10 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
3Add a cheese slice to each burger and cook for 1 additional minute until cheese is melted.
4Cook turkey bacon, toast your burger buns, and prepare toppings. Put burgers together and enjoy!
