Turkey Bacon Ezekiel Bread Egg Nests

for 8 servings

    • 8 eggs
    • 8 slices of Ezekiel bread
    • 1 package of Applegate Turkey Bacon
    • Olive Oil
    • Salt & Pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

  2. 2Grease the muffin tin with Olive Oil

  3. 3Place strips of bacon on a paper towel lined plate, cover bacon with another paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes

  4. 4If your Ezekiel bread is frozen, microwave for 45 seconds to thaw

  5. 5Press the bread into the muffin tin, molding the bread to the sides to form a “bowl” that the egg will sit in

  6. 6Rip each slice of turkey bacon in half and place the two halves, criss-crossed, in the bread “bowl”

  7. 7Crack an egg into each “bowl”

  8. 8Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place into oven

  9. 9Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees
